Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Parasify ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Parasify is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to manage budgets, track expenses and income, monitor assets and debts, track net worth, set financial goals, and more. The App stores all data locally on your device.

4. Exchange Rate & Market Data Disclaimer

Parasify provides currency exchange rates, cryptocurrency prices, and commodity prices for informational and tracking purposes only.

• Exchange rates and market data are fetched from third-party sources and may not reflect real-time market conditions.
• Rates may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
• Do not use the exchange rates or market data provided by the App for actual currency conversion, trading, or investment decisions.
• We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from reliance on the data displayed in the App.

5. AI Chat Feature

Parasify includes an optional AI-powered chat feature, powered by Google's Gemini API.

• AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. The Financial Disclaimer (Section 3) applies to all AI Chat responses.
• By using the AI Chat feature, you acknowledge and agree that anonymized financial data related to your query may be sent to Google for processing via their Gemini API.
• No personally identifiable information is transmitted to Google through the AI Chat feature.
• Google processes this data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for Google's data handling practices.
• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated responses is not guaranteed. Do not make financial decisions based solely on AI Chat responses.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the financial data you enter into the App.
• Maintaining backups of your data. While the App provides export and Cloud Synchronization features, we are not responsible for data loss.
• Securing access to your device. If you enable biometric lock, you are responsible for managing your device's biometric settings.
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding financial record-keeping.

7. Premium Subscription

Parasify offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases.

7.1 Subscription Terms

• Free Trial: Parasify may offer a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged — the trial simply expires. Premium features accessed through trial may differ from paid premium features.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Price Changes: Subscription prices may change. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect, and you can choose to cancel before the new price applies.

7.2 Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the "Manage Subscription" option in the App's settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until then.
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

7.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through their Report a Problem page. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content, is owned by Ahmet Kochan and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data. In summary: all your financial data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.

10. Cloud Synchronization & Sharing

If you choose to enable Cloud Synchronization or use the Family Sharing feature (premium features):

• Your Apple ID and financial data are stored on Supabase servers, subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Cloud Synchronization and Family Sharing are available exclusively to premium subscribers.
• We are not responsible for data loss, sync conflicts, or issues arising from Supabase's cloud service.
• When using Family Sharing, you are responsible for managing who has access to your shared information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• We are not responsible for any financial losses, incorrect calculations, data loss, or decisions made based on information provided by the App.
• Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ahmet Kochan from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. Active subscriptions will be honored for their remaining duration.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
